Day 1 over at the French Junior Open

 

Ashley, the 5/8 seed is through to the last 8 at the end of his first days play.

Thursday evening saw a bye through to the 2nd round, last 32, for most of the top seeds.

1st match        Pascal Gomez Valois, 17/32 seed from Spain. 3-0 win 11/7, 11/8, 11/5.

2nd match       Saad Shahid, 9/16 seed from Pakistan, 3-1 win 11/8, 8/11, 11/3, 11/2.

Tomorrow he play's the No 1 seed, 2nd year under 19, Tom De Mulder from Belgium in the quarter finals.
